Today saw 11 pike landed from 1lbs to 5lbs 10oz.
Biggest fish went to David Boardman at 5 lbs 10oz winning a custom artwork of a pike chasing a pike fly by the Yorkshire_fly_lad.
place was also Dave with 4 fish totalling 14lbs & some change. Trophy sponsored by Predator Fly Fishing
place went to Garth with 2 fish totalling 6lbs. Fly tying material from Narwood Fly tying
went to Mathew with his 5lbs 7oz fish. 1 year membership to Pike Fly Fishing Association.
The morning started out absolutely lovely with fish starting to show interest in a an hour of starting, remainder of fish coming in over the rest of the morning. Rain moved in around midday & the wind picked up a bit. Most the anglers were back in by 1.30-2pm, Dave lost a bigger fish just before he came back in.
