Back after a bit of a lay off saw yours truly draw peg
number 2 along the road. Out went the waggler, red maggot over hemp.
Roach, Rudd and small Chub making up my double figure weight. Everyone had
a prize, thanks to the generosity of people. We even presented a Best
Perch prize which was shared by Dave and Dudley seal. Both having a 11 oz
Perch. Dave got the bottle of scotch and Dudley got the mince pies!A
number of absentees were sorely missed, Liam on hot dog duty - when will
this lad learn, Ian working "you need to slow down mate" and our Club
Champion elect Craig erm on a three line whip from her INDOORS, "I think
he had to go shopping but don't tell anyone"!
Despite the truly awful day weather-wise I count myself lucky to be
fishing with such a friendly bunch. Fair play to Dave Kitching who got in
at four o'clock after a really heavy night and proceed to get some decent
Roach for third place. My fish were a bit on the small side, about the
size the Kingfisher was catching opposite me!
