The Old
West - Earith - Cambridgeshire
We
have ¾
mile of the Old West from Earith to Willingham.
The bank we control is opposite the Willingham Road.
Most
species are present although Roach and Bream are dominant.
The fishery is good all year round and can be exemplary in the winter
as the Roach and Bream migrate near to the marina.
Avoid
feeding maggot in the summer, as this will get you Eels.
Feed hemp, and little balls of groundbait but use fish maggot or
caster for good catches.
Parking
Parking
is at the bridge opposite the Old Lock House.
You gain access to the fishery from the public footpath at
the Lock over the little metal humpback bridge at the mouth of the
marina and through the marina along the flow bank.

to get there...
