Specialist Anglers Alliance represents the interests of specialist anglers and angling groups ranging from ECHO and the Pike Anglers Club of Great Britain to the Tenchfishers and the Eel groups, as well as member clubs and societies and individual angling members. The SAA is a full member of the National Federation of Anglers which continues to do sterling work for angling, but many of us believe does not, always, address the concerns of specialist angling in particular.

The Pike Anglers' Club of Great Britain was formed in 1977 as a direct result of changing attitudes toward pike. For far too long pike had been regarded by fishery owners and some anglers as vermin, to be killed and removed at all costs. Since it's inception, the PAC has done much to drastically change this mistaken attitude and pike are now widely regarded as a positive element in the natural balance of any fishery; and are valued as a sport fish for all anglers to enjoy.

Nash Tackle is the fishing worlds most highly respected, dedicated carp brand. Kevin Nash started designing and manufacturing carp tackle in the seventies – a time when carp fishing was in its infancy. It is not a case of carp tackle developing since those days but rather the tackle we know today simply had not been conceived, it was Kevin that addressed that. Carp sacks, brollies, bivvies, rucksacks, rod holdalls, terminal tackle – Nash Tackle are THE original innovators.
