Club Match Burwell Lode Upware Sunday 10th February 2008 We started out with a very sharp frost but this was soon forgotten as the day warmed up and we basked in bright sunshine and virtually no wind. That man Darler did it again this time using his secret winter league tactic.

Malcolm Turpin caught the best fish of the day a 1-13-0 perch. Most caught roach and small bream on punch or squat. Craig and I spent the first three hours without a bite we were draw on the high pegs and just had to sit it out then just as Craig was wondering weather we would catch off we went or rather he did and I think with a bit longer may have gone past the Darlerman who loves this venue.
