Junior Dudley Seal followed up his second place in our junior match on Saturday with a resounding win against the seniors. Dudley's catch was made up of skimmers caught on the pole using double red maggot. Make no mistake this was a very good performance as the cam in these conditions does not give its fish up that easily. Trevor "chop" Sturge also used double red maggot and again caught mainly skimmers although he lost at the net a perch of around 3lbs which would have considerable boosted his catch. Newcomers this season Mike and Malcolm also had good catches and are ones to watch. I had a lovely day in the sunshine telling people how to catch---- not Mr Darler though as he is too secretive! Next match is as advertised in the club book. A special thanks to Colin And Ralph who did a great job in clearing swims for us.
