The winner had over 22lbs of Rudd and roach the biggest Rudd went 1-4-0 and roach went 1-2-0 Alan caught two carp which made up his winning catch.  Alan caught his Rudd on the waggler and then got bored  and fished proper carp gear fishing some sort of nut. I must have, along with Will been nuts to fish as I really did not enjoy the day.

Strangely I noticed a nut by Wills van, I opened  the plastic thing up and this toy beetle rattled around inside. Quite why Will had got such a thing I do not know. I fished boilies given to me by Tony Duffin and yes I did hook a socking great fish which I played to perfection only for it to shed the hook after I had done the hard bit.  Bloody Hair rigs!  I don't know what Mr. Darler caught but I do know he was casting so far he had to use his fighter pilot goggles to see his float tip!  I believe it is a tie for the summer series with Chris Whitehall and Ian Darler.
