Kingfisher Lake - Thetford

We were invited to participate in a angling awareness programme held at Thetford, organised by the Environment Agency, targeting anglers that could benefit from understanding fishery rules and national regulations.

The take up was higher than expected so CFPAS Ltd. members ended up on the lake with our competitors on the local river! It was a bit of a shame we did not get to mix but at the end of the day we enjoyed a competitive match together with some formal coaching.

Will Temple caught three bream up to 6-8-0 but the rest of us caught roach and Rudd. As this was a education programme Tony Duffin kindly targeted the resident carp but unfortunately they did not show but it was interesting to watch the fish feeding methods of Tony.

I did a bit of coaching not realising Will had done the same so I re-rigged a lads set up which Will had already done ! what do I know! Will reckons I am getting more like Percy.
