Milton Country Park Inaugural Match

Sunday 8th June 2008

The sun came out and the fish went and basked in the lovely warm weather.

Our match at the country park was to celebrate our latest acquisition which opens to members on the 16th of June 2008. The day proved very successful with the top four anglers receiving prizes donated by Simpers. Our thanks goes to simpers for their continued support.

The top three anglers all had Common Carp in their catches with Tony Duffin catching the largest at 12-0-0, pictured below.

Tony is a regular on our waters and used his skills of big fish catching to great effect.. Mr Darlers estimating of weight of fish is back to his dodgy best his 3lb carp hitting the scales at 9lbs!
