Chantel Williams had a day to remember at
the Cambridge Fish Preservation and Angling Society Ltd’s annual West
Renault Dealers sponsored Junior, Ladies and Senior Citizens tournament
on Saturday 28th June.
Her
winning catch of 1 lb 1 oz gave her the Jim Reynolds Trophy in the 8-11
age category and the Marie Tweed Trophy in the girl’s section. She also
took the Bill Sharp Memorial Cup as the top youngest on the day. Ben
Pearson took the Percy Anderson Trophy in the 14-16 age group while
Craig Burch got his hands on the Ralph Bayfield Trophy in the 12-13 age
group.
The Brett Howard Memorial Cup was awarded
to Alfie Lowe with Peter Proctor picking up the Specimen Fish award with
a 4 lb 8 oz Tench.
Teresa Northfield was the leading lady
collecting the Kelly Cup with Mick Perriment picking up the Reg Berryman
Cup with a catch of 8 lb 3 oz which consisted of a couple of nice Bream.

Dealers whose sponsorship ensured everybody taking part went home with a
number of prizes. We would also like to thank Mrs Farrington and Leeda
for providing the prize and replica cup for the Brett Howard Memorial
Cup.
